When shall I fill
up the battery?
|
| |
Only top
up the battery after charging (generally in the morning);
if you top it up before charging, the electrolyte may
leak from the elements and collect on the bottom of
the container. This will lower the density of the electrolyte
and reduce the capacity of the battery. |

How often shall I fill
it up?
|
| |
There is
no fixed time because water consumption varies according
to the conditions of use of the battery: temperature,
charging method, discharge system, etc. Follow the instructions
in the use and maintenance handbook. |

Yes you can,
but you must check its charge status every now and then
(about once a month) and perform a charging cycle if
necessary. Never leave the battery flat as it may become
difficult to change due to the plates sulphating. |

These top-up
charges may shorten battery life. You should use another
battery as a back-up. |

|
How long does a
battery charging phase last?
|
| |
This basically
varies according to:
- residue charge level
- charging method (current charging curve)
- temperature |
