 Energy at Work

Energy at Work is a new range of batteries which has been specially designed by MIDAC to satisfy the specific requirements of numerous applications which require a constant and prolonged supply of electrical power. The main technical characteristics are:

Thick plates
Radial grids
Active material with a specific composition for withstanding cyclical stress
Pb/Sb/Sn/As/Se alloy grids for withstanding corrosion and ensuring optimum contact with the active material
Coupled microporous separators in glass wool for preventing the active material from flaking and falling

Thanks to these technical solutions and the attentive selection of materials, the Energy at Work batteries feature elevated performance levels, unbeatable reliability and a very long lifetime.

Energy at Work batteries fully satisfy the following cycle resistance standards:

Lifetime in cycles according to DIN

300 cycles according to DIN 43 539 part 3
600 cycles according to DIN 40 757

In addition to the above, "T" tubular positive plate batteries also satisfy the following standards:
1200 cycles according to DIN 40 767

Battery lifetime, measured in cycles, depends both on regular maintenance and other variable factors such as discharge depth, charging method and factor, operating temperature and vibrations.

The batteries are mainly used for:

Electric traction (transpallets, forklift trucks)
Street lighting
Electric vehicles
Campers - Caravans - Boats
Industrial cleaning
Daises - Platforms
